Imagine how CNN would have reported on D-Day?
They would have made it sound like the biggest disaster in history instead of one of the greatest. 10,000 dead? We have had about 800 total dead in over a year in Iraq and they are trying to make it sound like a fiasco.
Imagine what they would have said about the Battle of the Bulge?

If it was todays Media, coupled with Bush being in charge of D-Day. Other countries would be questioning Bushes decision to launch the massive attack on Brazil as the centerpeice of his war against Nazi's.

If the dictator of Brazil was a sworn enemy and had been shouting "Death to America" for years, you bet your ass we
would have done the same thing to him.
You forget FDR and Truman were not like today's Democrats. Those guys were anti-communists to the core. They did not hesitate to defend American interests. Today's liberals (post Vietnam) are the remnants of the hippie generation. A huge fucking waste of life if you ask me. To them, America needs to be weak and lower ourselves to everyone else's level economically and militarily.
It still doesn't change the fact that the liberal media in this country is disgusting. They pray for Vietnam in every war.
