What I am saying is that was the reasoning as to why we stayed in Vietnam. Those reasons you stated for us staying in Iraq are the same reasons they stated for staying in Vietnam. So yes you can compare the two. And what was the outcome? Tens of Thousands died in Vietnam and we ended up pulling out. So why not pull out now instead of wasting tens of Thousands of lives before we decide to pull out? Thats all im saying. I dont want my friends and family dieing there to protect greedy corporations interests in oil is all im saying.

It seems we wont be pulling out because there doesn't seem to be a great chance of use losing "Tens of Thousands" of troops, like we did in Vietnam...the two wars possess tremendous differences in miltary tactics. So tremendous that they can't even be compared...

Pulling out simply isn't an option...I have already stated why twice...propose an alternative...

Much like how the Black Hand(pincup), murdered francis ferdinand of Austria...it ignited WWII, but it certainly wasn't the reason for it.

When the Archduke was assassinated, it started WW I.

when did i request equal rights on this forum?
Where are you coming from with this anyway? The only thing I can think of is that when you first posted in this discussion I said you should say something meaningful, not just, "register or get the fuck out"
How you got me requesting equal rights on this forum from that is beyond me...

I think you are misinterpretting his statement, or it was not clear. His point was not that the founding fathers would do nothing. His statement was that the "patriot act" would make them gag.
Correct me stretch if that is wrong, but I think PP is putting words in your mouth.
