Im white , I am Irish and I had posted a gay picture of mysel on thr fourms, glad I wasn't photoshopped like mad. I will admit this, and I might as well ... I am a " lefty socialist " . I am not a free love hippie freak, but I think in regards to people , well best way is leave them to their own devices. We have ours , meaning laws and countrys. And people all around the world want to come to Canada and the USA for better lives. But one cannot force freedom to other people in other countrys. It must be taken, must be collectively earned by the masses and not placed in my machines of war. I feel that unless other countrys can fight [ IE Cvil Wars and Revolutions ] themeselves for their rights , then they truly will not have their own heros and reasons to continue down the path. Its like a Muslims imposing their will on a town in the southern states to do as they do. Sure you wiill obey if faced with guns and powerful forces, But you will resent this set in place goverment and laws and when the time is right probably rebel. The largest mistake I think is beleiving ALL Iraqi's or Muslims want a free demcractic state in the middleeast. I know many do, probably more then those who do not. But unless THOSE WHO WANT IT fight for it amongst themsevles it will forever be branded as given rather then earned and will in the end be looked at as a foreign tool to control the middleeast rather then free it.
That is why I do not support the war. Damm I love freedom and I am marrying a fucken American, I am not a psycho but I admit my views are probably WAY left from most of yours. I never intend to disrepect any US soilder for going to war, but it is true they can be brainwashed as posted on this forum to think that the war is ALL GOOD , and not bad at all and for the good of all mankind. No, it was done for the good of the US only. So I think.
