I know finding the right one to download would be next to impossible, and those things run about $200-$300. Problem is, you never really get rid of it, it just makes it (vocal track) very quiet.

really? Hmm i'll try that. BTW i was the anonymous guy. When i'm at school i don't bother logging in. I just don't think i can get enough extension chords or a mic in there. I know my friend Lou put the microphone right up to his amp and covered it with 3 blankets. It was....um....pretty bad smirk

that you could run right into where you put the mic, but it might not it would be worth looking at. Recording audio from an amp through a mic is never good smirk Performance, well you can get away with a shitload, but for audio recording getting the signal directly would be best.
