The problem right now is that neither of the candidates are into fiscal conservatism. It really is a damned if you do damned if you don't. But, because im more liberal on social issues I have my qualms with bush. If only McCain had won instead of bush we would be doing so much better.
I would tend to agree about the rich vs middle class, but how about the lower classes? Because their marginal propensity to save is basically 0 I would think more of the tax cuts would go into the economy. Because the rich don't need to spend as much and will tend to save more than the poor. Just my take though, not exactly sure.
I do live in Minnesota, great state, except for the early mornings when it is 40 below wind chill.
