If you want to be viewed as good, and moral then you must have the high road. that was the problem in the first place. you invaded a country on false pretenses, and lies of a goverment far as I am concerned. you killed 1000's of their people and no the country is in some bit of chaos, THANKS ALOT IN NO SMALL PART TO THEM BEING COMPLETE IDIOTS AND SAVAGES. But never the less if you start to do what they do, who then becomes a terrorist or a thug. You must remain the better half, the light or then there will be no light, only darkness.
PS what happen to those people sucks shit and the Iraqi's that did that should goto JAIL .. not as you suggest. problem is now that you bombed the hell out of it, there is no LAW avaible to punish.
