Naw it's not the drugs it's the times we live in. We are basically having a repeat of the 80's right now. 90% of the bands in this decade will not make it to the next. 80's=Michael Jackson, Madonna :00's=Titneys's Spears, Justin Timberlake. 2 reasons why "new rock" sucks is because of one word "POP". Another being hip-hop, or as I like to call it hip-pop. I love how American people sterotype hip hop and electronic music. "If you like hip hop your a wannabee wigger ass bling bling gangsta nigga." Most people don't even know the difference between hip-hop and hip-pop. Same thing with Electronic, "All the people that like Techno are candy raving E popping, druggies. Techno is a specific genre of electronic music that I guarentee 95 percent of you guys have never even heard. Why? Cause you live in America and you are judges and classified by the music you listen to. Commercialized trendy music sets the styles, fashions, and whats hot and whats not. Another thing I'd like to add is that I am not against rock music or enjoy putting it down. First tape I ever bought was Appetite For Destruction G'nFkn'ROSES 4 life.
