it uses the same network as bearshare but is completely free....... ie no free version with banners then a pro version....
you can even use it as a normal http file download manager...

i saw no mp3s on ircspy <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> or at least for the kind of obscure bands. anyone know?

would think mirc is the best place to find those, or kazza lite. A couple guys from my high school put their stuff on there, and they are about as obscure as u can get hehe.

you have to search by the album, no singles on there.

you dont goto specific servers to look for shit.
goto www.ircspy.com and search what your looking for, if any bot/host as what you are looking for the search will show the servers which they are located on. Click one of the links and it should automatically open your mirc, connect you to the server, then connect you to the room. It should also automatically copy the get file info to your clipboard so all you have to do is paste and hit enter in the chat bar. Then either get the file or wait in queue.

does anyone know why half the transfers i get on IRC stop in the middle of the download? Been trying to dl star wars Knights of the Old republic forever and it never works!
