k here's my story...fyi I still haven?t received my deposit back....
I use to work for Sprint PCS customer care, about 3000 employees, I worked on their servers, well actually I scratched my dick all day watching usage flow charts uuuuuggggghhhhh.
Anyway so they tell me that I can get 1/2 off my sprint pcs phone bill for working for them, I'm like ok I'll sign up. I pay the 100 bucks for a cool camera phone, I'm only 22 so my credit isn't great so I had to pay a 250 deposit, no problem. I get laid off due to the fact that they didn't need a server crew there.
Okay so i cancel my phone and plan and all of that. I'm lucky enough to get my 100 bucks back for my phone, and I wait for my deposit, <FYI this was in July of 2003> 1 month passes and nothing. So I give a call, "ooh sorry it shows that your account is still open, we'll fix that right away..." is what the person says, another month passes and nothing, basically I've been trying to get my $250 bucks back for the last...um..7 months, 7 MONTHS!!!!! 250 bucks is nothing to sneeze at, that?s a nice x-mass present I could have got, or 1/3 rent or...well you get what I'm saying.
Also get this, so in November I go back to the customer care place where I use to work, I figure that maybe I can talk to someone 1 on 1 and get this cleared up. When I walk in there and explain to them my problem, the secretary flips out, now I know I'm a bit muscle bound, but I don't think I look threatening, and I wasn't angry, I'm pretty chill irl. This huge fucking 6'5" security guard comes out and asks me to leave the premises WTF!!!!! I told him that i just wasn?t to speak to a manager to get my deposit back that was owed to me for a few months, he tells me to leave again or he's going to call the cops. I tell him "fuck you dough boy", rare for me to make an outburst like that, but I was appalled that all I wanted to do was get my money back and I got a big security guy telling me to leave, he says leave now, as I walk out the door I flip him all and tell him to sit on it.
Anyway I still haven?t got my money =/
Just warning you guys don't use Sprint PCS unless you want your money stolen.

if you weren't doing anything wrong I would have waited for the cops to show up.. I had panasonic not give me a refun don a shitty mp3 player i bought from them 3 years ago, took they 13 monthes to pay me back and i sent them a bill for my cell hpone (cuz i lived in a fraternity house and had no land line to be put on hold) and that bill was 600 dollars and told them I would seek further damages in court if need be.
Shortly there after I recieve a check labeled "Reimbursement for cell phone" and no refund for my panasonic, a family friend told me this was a method of slowing down the payback and they could now show they were "trying to pay me back".
luckily they sent me a ~300 check(for th ebusted mp3 player) and in the memo it said "striving for customer service".

My plan on verizon
Free from 9pm-9am, 200 free text msges a month, free weekends free long distance. Wish i had free roaming, but Verizon has the best service, only phone that worked when i went on a senior retreat last year with my class.

I was about to join the ranks of People with Cellphones... I think I get a deal on Sprint through my company, but if they are fucktards then fuck them. Word of Mouth baby...

yea thats why i changed from cingular to verizon. Cingular has the worst reception ever

I ditched my pager before I left for Australia. Pagers = teh sux.
And yeah, I know, I'm behind the times. I just don't really have a big need for a cell phone. *shrug*
