What?s up Lord?s of Cinderella, long time no speak. It was pretty cool hanging out with a bunch of you when you started out in the SB Beta, sorry I didn?t stick around. Brought back some good memories, though.
I was surfing around last night and figured I?d check in on Balinor?s latest Shadowbane adventures, and came across the messageboard. Anyway, I read this post by ?Panemon? last night, figured I?d shoot a reply. Hope to see some of you on IPY if you get the old White Castle craving. Spoke to your very own Cinderella Boy Legolos the other day, and he said he was tossing the idea around, and it would be great to see some of you again.
Anyway, Panemon:
The first time I tried a UO emulated shard, was when WTFMAN.com advertised their Cygnus shard. I logged in and got killed upon logging in, in a non-guard zoned Britain, by a bunch of dumbshits.

Not exactly sure what your guff with Cygnus is, or was, as WTFMan had nothing to do with it with exception of advertising it. It was run by an old Baja friend of mine, Magnus, whom some of you might remember, and a friend or two of his awhile back. We have decent traffic, so we helped a friend get something going. I GM?d there for a month or two to help Magnus out, though I never played it, and was generally just looking for something else to do in spare time. It had mixed results. Cygnus failed because Magnus and crew didn?t have the required time (and well, money) to put into it. Regardless, it gave some of those interested (apparently, you not included) something to do for a while. So, what?s your problem here exactly?
How many times back in the day, did we see screenshots of Ron's kills with his clear use of exploits, such as UOE, or UOP?
With exception of a screenshot (4th screenshot down, % Health appearing above a few character?s heads) from our disruption of Avalon's Contest of Champion's Tournament, I?d like you to find me such an instance somewhere, please. Perhaps I have overlooked something, or have a foggy memory, but I cannot recall any. Besides, how do you even know if that was my screenshot as opposed to anyone elses? You have no idea, but, I?ll go ahead and tell you, it was mine.
I've seen UOE myself, and it clearly gave an unfair advantage to players who had it, and got away with using it.
I have heard the like before. I had never had any qualms with anyone using it myself, hell, if everyone had it, the more the merrier. UO nowadays basically has the same features, minus the permanent open containers and seeing invisible players. It?s not my fault you never chose to level the playing field. It?s called adaptation.
I fought Ron only one time on Baja ever. He usually had healers around him, ready to prove themselves as Ronald "loyalists", while he spent the majority of his time snooping through my backpack, while getting blue healed.
You only fought me once, yet you know that I ?usually? (which would constitute plural encounters) had blue healers around me, loyalists as you call them. I find this pretty interesting, because most of the I time spent non-guild warring (LAPD, Patryns, early Malagents), was spent solo, and I had no problem fighting a fucking army alone. Even in the events I wasn?t solo, I was with perhaps Magnus, Osiris, or Sir RICHARD, whom I was pretty much with exclusively the rest of the time, and they damned sure weren?t just some ?loyalists,? they were merely friends, and red I might add. Most of the core LoD or even old KoJ could attest to this if they so chose, as I ran across them practically my entire UO life (Macros, Legolos, Borric and Obidiah can surely admit to this, as they were always my little personal Cinderella whipping Boys). And for the most part, the only ?blue? people I ran around with in the Dread Days were Artemus, Smirnof, LALD, and Autoexec, and as we all know the Boobs had a whole lot different of an agenda than keeping me healed while I snooped shit.
I was readily aware of thieving pvpers, and I covered my bag with at least 2 robes. Still he managed to steal my xbow bolts out of my bag without even being near me, to properly snoop out my covered bag.
UOE allowed assholes to keep bags open even while you were away from the person snooping you, allowing them time to shift through your belongings, and target whatever they wanted.

Well, unlike you, I adapted to UOE use. Covering shit with robes doesn?t cut shit, and still doesn?t cut shit today. I was not the only asshole out there ganking your shit. I had to deal with the same shit as you did, and I knew to keep my chest full of valuables on my cursor to avoid such a drawback. You should have tried it sometime. And as an aside to Borric if he reads this board, sorry for taking all 22 of your katanas in that Sheol tournament, though I thought it was pretty god damned funny when you just conceded. Some chap named Mystik, if I recall correctly, beat my ass the following round, so don?t feel too bad. I will always love you the same.
I've gotten a lot of players banned on Lake Superior, for catching them using UOE, it was a bunch of bullshit.
Good for you. You're a crusader.
I'm not saying I am a saint, but I can honestly say I've never relied on UOP/UOE or any third party program to PvP with. I've used UOP and UOE's macro timer program(UOLoop), in fact it's still of use to me, to this very day.
Hrmm, but you?ve used UOP, but only downloaded UOE for UOLoop. Sure, I?ll give you benefit of the doubt. But, as I said above, good for you, you were a fucking Mennonite in modern America. I respect you for that. Adapt, man.
In fact I was one of Ashran's first testers on Chesapeake bay on a dummy account to try out his multi-last target hack, but I never used it to engage in PvP, I mearly used it for enhanced skill gain.
Ah, you merely used it to cheat for better skill gains, so that you could PvP. Somewhat of an indirect method of engaging in PvP cheats. No big deal. It looks like you were beginning to adapt, which is mighty white of you, indeed.
Every once and awhile, people claim that Ronald McDonald was their UO hero, even though he was a sack of cheating shit, who relied on Dr. Twisters bugs and exploits to survive in UO.
Whatever, man. You obviously didn?t know me. I primarily used The Bug Shack?s bugs, it?s just that I was trying to support my boy Vader in his business ventures, so I advertised for his TwisTer gig. At least you were keen enough to see in the uh, ?one time you fought me,? to figure out I was a cheating sack of shit who needed exploits to survive. Hey, I learn something new everyday. I was actually a pretty straight shooter, with exception of UOE, which was available to everyone in the first place (which I should add, was Evilseed?s deal, not Vader?s), and another bug on 2 characters that happened due to Valid and Angry Johnny gating a creature from Green Acres onto the mainland called the Godland Protector, that gave me some padded stats for awhile. But I consider that one Origin?s fault, they shouldn?t have created a creature that did that kind of shit. I did love the ability to take on a room of 8, alone, and kill 3 or 4 for a month or two though. It was quite the adrenaline rush, but I?d say uber stats proved to be more of a liability than an asset, as it?s tough to be in a guild fight and have someone on your team heal you and see your meter move a centimeter, or take say, 9 ebolts before dying. Doesn?t leave you a whole lot of options.
I've been well aware of Ron's site, since he basically put it up for the first time. Let's face it, he only gained his popularity through his knowledge of shockwave flash, and his famous corp poring a GM animation, inevitably starting a whole new genre of copycat shockwave flash animators.
I don't envy him anymore than I envy a 12 yr old using an AIMBOT or a WALLHACK in an FPS arena. If people actually knew what Ron was about, he was only about being a hardcore cheater when it came to PvP.

I actually had pretty good traffic before fucking around with Flash, chief. Sure, the Flash shit sure brought on more of an audience, but what?s your beef with that exactly? Perhaps people were interested in whatever bullshit I chose to post about rather than being for peen envy. However, it appears that there is indeed some peen envy out there, and it appears to be from you coincidentally. I mean, what?s it to you that people care to visit our site, and some out there that like it? THE PEOPLE LOVE ME BECAUSE I AM THE BEST, and you cannot take that from me, which makes you sad, and unhappy.
We all knew Vader aka Dr. Twister from the Baja GY crew, that guy was basically the one who INVENTED house hiding for future M&D and LoD battle tactics.
If any of you don't know about Vader, he ran the most popular bug/exploit sites from around 1998 to 1999, when he was finally shut down by OSI.

This has doesn?t pertain to me I don?t think, so I cannot answer to it. But yes, I believe all of LoD are quite familiar with him. Probably because they were all STINKING EXPLOITERS, at least I know Macros was, as it?s always been the explanation behind why he always managed to beat the shit out of me.
I have a hard time trying to understand the "leetness" behind the WTFMEN crew and JoV.
It?s because we are fucking l33t, man. Where the fuck have you been?
Ronald (aka Radar/Dumbo ears)was an idiot, he got banned from UO because he paged a GM telling them his UOE wasn't working. Did he lie? Probably not. Considering his prior activities bothering OSI to give him facial hair every day, trying to convince OSI to go against their rules to passify his uber need for facial hair. It's no wonder OSI was quick to ban him from the game, hell, if he did that now, that's like an insta-ban.
Dumbo Ears was unoriginal, Radar was pretty funny though. LEGOLOS?S EARS ARE BIGGER, THOUGH. Just gives your mother something more to grab ahold of when I?m going down on her. Not sure what you?re getting at exactly here. Anyway, to set the scenario straight, I paged asking to be banned, not because my UOE wasn?t working (I think it was working that day), nor to pacify any facial hair needs. I was quitting (scroll to 4/21/99), no better way to ensure quitting than being banned. I might as well also point out that 2 years of my recorded track record there sure was hell doesn?t constitute ?OSI was quick to ban me.? Besides, they Loved me.
Nighthawk was no different either, he was the one who managed to stick around UO long enough to get banned for racial harassment, in which he preached about on his web site, about taking offense to people using racial slurs. What a hypocrite? I'd say so.
Nighthawk was by far the straightest shooter I knew. You should have absolutely no qualm with him. He had no right to be banned or be effected by the actions taken against him for that whole ordeal. Hypocrite, he is not.
As for X-Shards goes, I was kicked off Cygnus almost immediately by harassing the GM about his shitty emulated uo-wannabe shard. Accounts there were easy to make, so I continued to make fun of them several times, and get banned many times as well.
Obviously the popularity of Cygnus didn't take off as the WTFMAN crew promised. Maybe that's because they had a temporary perverted need to kill people's pre-mature; newbie characters to justify their uber powergaming leetness.

None of us "WTFMen" played there, man. I'd also point out we have better things to do than ?kill people?s pre-mature, newbie characters to justify our uber powergaming leetness.? At the time my better thing to do was play EQ. Which I should have been shot for. Sounds however like you had nothing better to do with your time than harassing GM?s on player run shards because, well, I have no idea why. Guess it beat wasting time on EQ. Live and learn.
I then after that, played on Hubris for the first time, in many years of never playing on another X-shard again. Then later found out, the guys computer who I installed the UO injection software on, was able to go through the program code, found a key logger trojan virus embedded in the executable. Intended to steal registered UO Players account information, for the possibility of financial gain/eBay purposes.
That's why I'll never trust a UO Emulated shard ever again.

You should play IPY man, it?s actually taken off remarkably, and is well staffed. Especially now, because in between getting resurrected, I would love the opportunity to kill your pre-matured, newbie character just to prove that I am l33t like that.
I think the only solution to having an enjoyable UO experience again, would be to convince OSI, to release a 98/99 style UO shard/s, if they ever wanted to get back the loss of business they attained via the UO:R/LBR/AOS Phases.
As for the WTFMEN crew, I would seriously not even go to their shitty website anymore. I think McManus having more time on his hands than Ron generates more creative shockwave animations to my personal taste.

I?m glad you prefer to stay away, because we have an abundance of douchebags on our shitty site, we sure don?t need another.
Go ahead and tell me I'm wrong, ignorance is the ruler of this board.
I couldn?t have done a better job of proving that myself, and for that I applaud you. Well, I suppose I could if I found some sort of exploit.
Flame away.

Ron, my son, we all know I bested your ass in the tournament you sponsered. Nothing gave me more satisfaction then face planting you and Cichlid into the floor of Deceit dungeon. She assumed since she had you on her team that she would win. To bad, she foorgot one thing... she didn't know how to pvp in the first place. Heh...
As for Panemon, he's just our local LoD fanboi. When I use to actually waste my time responding to his attempts at slander he always use to tell me how you two were close friends. Funny, how this guy lives his life through posting on our forums. Never knew it could be a full time occupation until I met him.
In closing, I can't wait to own you again in a new realm. I'm not sure if that will be IPY or not because I've kinda heard mixed results about it, but I'll eventually test it out after finals.
I object to the ears comment. I think all of us with superior hearing should stick together. So don't hate on me just because I owned you.
Also, Ronald only wanted a goatee for one reason: He idolized all that is Carnage and wanted to alter his in-game appearance so that he looked like him.

I think you'll find our forums conatins it's fair share of douche-bags as well. Don't be surprised, not that you would be, to get a bunch of n00b replies or posts that are often not worth responding too. As for Panemon, the last we heard of him, he was going to leave the "shitty" USA for a better job driving a truck in Congo so he can go out on the town with Bubar to meet women and tell them how he was the first to hack assembly code and dupe gold in UO. But first he has to train a chimp to brew beer at Coors or something. You can read about it here. Its quite amusing (just read the Tenshi/Panemon part of the thread). Ohh well, I wish him luck in his venture.
But yo, I was a bit bummed out that we didn't hook up in SB on release. LoD did quite well on the Death server, pretty much playing the game our style, PKing and fighting all the carebears doing it. We held out until the close of the Death server, although; our numbers waned a bit at the end. Now we are scattered about a few servers, just PKing at random. Its the closest thing to the old school days since...well... the old school days.
What's with our Fins? Looks like another disappointing season. I am still working out in Australia, so I don't get the Fins/Eagles game for another 6 hours, but I'm pretty sure were in for another crap out December under Wannsteadt. Hope I am wrong.
Lates bro, drop by more often,
-Bal.

That tourny when you stole all Borrics Katana's was pretty damm funny, borric just got all quiet for the rest of the day.
Yes Lego beats you for ears.
I've seen a few LoD playing IPY and they all like it, good work. Maybe we'll see ya in Darkfall, or at least the beta of Darkfall <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Tell NH i holla'd, good hearing from ya.
And shit plz help us, our website continues to look worse and worse (yellow?). All i want for x-mass is a genuine WTFMan made intro flash movie... ? :P

Panemon writing some long essay about UO or Ron actually coming here and responding to it at length.
Besides it wasn't the UOE which gave Ron his advantage, it was the hacked stats. <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
