You got quite the jewel of response there, too.

In reply to:

Can you show your skill more? Any newbie knows cal-o, m, i.

Yea, for this time in the CS community. Back when you didn't even know this game existed such a thing didn't exist just yet.

In reply to:

Why do you think you know everything I've done? I started in 1.3.

Because I still have a big stack of screenshots from Beta 6 clear to 1.1.

In reply to:

Leagues, skill, and clans mean EVERYTHING, do you think anyone knows LoD because of CS? No, because you guys were in OGL. If you guys were so good why didn't you guys apply for at least cal-o? BECAUSE YOU WOULD HAVE GOT TAKEN.

Leagues, skills, and clans didn't mean everything to us. They may have to you because you obsess over who is the most popular in an internet multiplayer game. Do you think LoD really cared about it's known presence and popularity in CS? When LoD first started playing CS it was all for the fun. OGL was there for us because it was just for fun on so many levels while we could still be very competitive. If you also didn't notice, everyone of us stopped shortly after the release of 1.3.

You keep missing one of my points. LoD didn't come to CS to dominate every server, every ladder, everything, everyone. It's a fucking FPS shooter. It's a god damn game. Just because LoD went another game doesn't mean we're there to "take over the world!" You seem to believe that just because someone has an LoD tag, they're there in that specific game to dominate everyone.

In reply to:

A.) LoD only played OGL. OGL = newbies = LoD. Newbs = no skill.
B.) LoD used cheats, cheats = newbie, newbie = no skill.

My whole post was saying that LoD = newbs, thus you are a newb sense you are in LoD and shouldn't be commenting on another persons skill level if you have no skill!

Now here's where the fun begins. Raok, I would never ever say what you just said ever again because you and I both know full well that I was fucking good at CS. You were a piece of shit.

Again with the cheats. We never tolerated cheats. They happened, and we couldn't stop them. Every CS team has their cheaters unless they are a close group of friends. It's another reason why LAN matches will always be ten times better.

In reply to:

Hummm why would you try to dominate CS? Maybe because it is THE MOST competitive multiplayer game on the internet, and that isn't my personal opinion. It has been written about plenty of times in Wired and PCGamer. Are you saying a MMORPG is worth conquering and a FPS isn't? lololol, your newbery is OUTSTANDING!

As much as I agree with you in that an FPS game is worth dominating over an MMO, you're forgetting that LoD came from MMO. Not everyone here likes FPS shooters. The majority doesn't. I and about 10 others were pretty dedicated to the game. Even the ten of us weren't that dedicated to find the need to "dominate CS!" The rest would play the game just for fun while taking small breaks from UO or whatever game was being played at the time.

In reply to:

There weren't much interest in LoD about CS eh? That's why you guys had 3 squads of 10 people each? That's more interest in any cal team, sense they have no more then 8 players per team.

There weren't 10 people in each squad. We also had 2 squads. Of the two squads, we played various ladder types. Sui led one team. Carnage ran the other.

I guess after all that, my main point is that LoD wasn't out to take over the CS community. A lot of us were there to be competitive, but this didn't mean we were there to take over every ladder and server. We were satisfied with the ladder we were on, the challenges that we received from clans daily, and the satisfaction of owning idiots like you, Raok.
