They won't fuck it up Phantom Menace style but at the same time the movie will be mediocre at best. In order to profit on the global market they are stuck pandering to old nerds, young children and the Chinese. With all that taken into consideration, this is a perfect storm for a generic flick that takes no chances.

Make no mistake, the purpose of this movie is to sell junk no one really needs.
