'67 Vette imo. The supercars are impressive but I've never cared that much for the sound. They always have V10's or V12's with smaller displacement so you don't get that real deep roar out of them like you do the old muscle cars. Fuel injection doesn't sound as good as engines with carb's either, imo.
The 67 vette is not a god damn 7.0 Liter either. It's a 427 cubic inch V8. This is MERICA! Same thing I guess but you don't call an old Vette a 7.0 liter. Blasphemy.
The crazy thing is the '67 Vette, if it's a L88 car, could actually be the most expensive car of the bunch. One of the first all aluminum engines. A convertible 4 speed L88 will bring several million dollars (one sold for $3,850,00.00 at auction).
http://route66pubco.com/2014/01/30/barrett-jacksons-five-highest-selling-cars/I actually have my dads 1970 Chevelle SS in my garage right now (he's out of garage space LOL). I'll take a video this weekend. It sounds better, imo, than any of the cars in this video.
It has a 502 Cubic Inch (8.22 liters for you euro homo's) V8. Some local race team purchased the 502 short block and built it up and then went belly up. It has ceramic coated long tube hooker headers which make a big difference for sound. It has such a large cam in it that the car has a separate electric vacuum pump to produce vacuum for the brakes. Otherwise if you slammed on the brakes the engine would die lol. 1050 CFM 4 barrel "Demon" carb. really sucks some gas.
The best part is I can take the family around in it and even fit a car seat in the back seat...comfortably.
