I'll admit it's harder to stereotype a Libertarian because they are all over the board with rhetoric as a group. The Tea Party on the other hand fits such a tight mold of beliefs that I find it almost too easy to stereotype them.
For instance, you can find people who are pro-gun liberals and you can find anti-gun republicans. You will never find an anti-gun Tea Party member. Republicans, Libertarians and Liberals all house religions of all types. The Tea Party is a christian movement. The examples go on and on and on...
Although I agree with Libertarians on a great number of issues, I see the Tea Party as taking over the Libertarian talking points and just adding God bless to the end of every statement.
In actuality, I would like the Libertarians to take on the Tea Party politically. The world needs more Ron Pauls then Sara Palins. That being said Ron Paul is an asshole, but just of a lesser sort.
