After Buzz thumped him, I wish Anderson Silva would have showed up and front kicked his teeth out. Fucking "Moon truthers".

Buzz is the man - did he get in trouble for that shit? I'm too lazy to research it myself. I'm sure the weasly prick tried to sue him or something.

That's always sketchy especially caught on tape, seen people instigating a fight get in more trouble than the guy throwing the punch. I actually think Buzz might be able to fuck the guy over more than the other way around, apparently good lawyers love "defaming" cases. Buzz is a champ though, looks like he was ready to follow with a left to the ribs. Poor guy probably broke his arthritis hand to pieces.

I checked out a few more of the links. I stumbled onto an audio recording of the guy who got punched essentially saying (paraphrasing here) we were both in the wrong, but I totally instigated the punch and I shouldn't have.

I don't think he'd be talking like that if he had sued or planned to.

I believe Buzz titled a chapter in his new book, "The Punch Heard Round the World" about this incident. If you just google that term I'm sure you could find a ton of info on it. If you have the time/desire of course.

As a further caveat to the above, the reaction from the guy doesn't surprise me. If he sues, they will likely settle out of court for a relatively small sum of money. The negative press this guy would get from such an action would be huge. I mean Buzz Aldrin is an American hero basically.

This would also ruin his image and credibility. The guy is a conspiracy theorist. If he wants anyone to ever take him seriously, he can't pull bullshit like antagnozing a good ole fashioned American hero into punching him and then suing the guy for it. I think having people believe him is probably more important to him (and potentially more profitable) than suing Buzz Aldrin and settling for some small sum of dough.
