Hopefully in time, I will have more time to do more things while working for myself. Last week I had 1 day that I worked 17 hours and another I worked 14.5 and by Missouri law, I got no OT or DT for either days.
Anyways, I know a guy whos dad used to own a gas station/bait shop off the lake. He wanted to sell all his stuff and lets just say, I dont have it all yet but what I did get for the price was a fucking steal.
I paid $200 for everything, only brought home 1 truck load so far. Just the unpitured molds alone are worth $30 ea brand new, I have 14 of them so far, which comes up to $420 just in the molds I have currently picked up. This does not include the 7,000 or so grub baits, thousand or so worm baits, the 5,000+ hooks, 150lbs of lead, lead melting pot, ingot casting plate and other things I have not pulled out of this guys storage yet.
HOOKS

BAITS

130 pounds of lead and finished 2 pound Ingot

Finished product of 1 of the lures I will be making, permission given to me by Colorado Bob's Buzz Baits. I also have my own design I am working on for crappie and bass which is a variation of that design. He is going to be retiring from the business soon and I might be getting all his gear and products from him. The lure below goes for $3.99 retail, about $2.50 wholesale and has about $.60-$.75 worth of material into it and maybe 5 minutes worth of time per lure.
