its going tobe not far from a lot of other movies out there which is bad story, awesome cgi.
its pretty much been the downfall of movies lately. they'll still make 50 mill with a dogshit story but something that looks cool...
on that note, RIP John Hughes writer of some great classics that required no CGI =[

wow no joke it was like robo cop meets star trek... so yeah
on the plus side 90% of the movie was action so that was cool...

Well I wouldn't exactly say the storyline sucked... lets just put it this way.. it wasn't like the movie Watchmen.
Basically the movie showed the history of like 4-5 of the main characters and set itself up for a sequal.
I was a little disapointed with some of the sci-fi weaponry (not the nano weapons because thats actually not sci fi at this point).. but for example a laser guided heat sinking missle mini xbow.. kinda gay along with the generic cobra guns... and of course the robo outfits I thought were stupid.. basically they were so OP everyone in the GI Joe unit SHOULD have had one.
But if you're into the comics or the cartoons you'd probably like the movie.. or of course if you just like seeing shit blow up and people get killed its good for that too lol.

it was just a action movie imo. You wouldn't go to watch it for the plot, rather just some CGI with action with cheap explosions/weapons.
Pretty much what ty said. Dont watch it if you have any expectations for it. Watch it because you got nothing else better to do then you wont be disapointed. I watched it tonight and would have rather played a game instead.
