With this game, there is definitely a feeling of nostalgia. The game had real character. SB.exe and that ancient movement platform aside, the game was a true spirit highpowered PK legend to the fucking max.
I'll miss everything from the crazy cookie cutter characters, godly multilayered character template customization platform, treehopping, broken exploit PvE, to the sound effects, city building options, vendors with controllable inventories and even the fucking GFX. PPL always hated on Shadowbane GFX, but despite the low complexity, the design and look of the game was actually one of the best in any mmo. Game had truckloads of style.
RIP black halfgiants, sea dogs, shade wizards, lizardmen sages, guards, gladiator runes, big bomb sentinels, group teleport aoes, summon chains, int of the gods, epic glass cannons, green killspam, sundancers, rerolls, multiple accounts, keyclones, grobolds, assist trains, operable doors, trebs, honebots, conc pots, sexy proccer templates and all the FC gear that I never had.
You will now enter the realm of legends and always be remembered as the MMO with biggest dick in the 21st century. You were a large blood pumping RPK erection from day 1.
