OP SloppyJoe Noob Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 251 Rhode Island	I am going to build my own Core i7 PC. Anyone have any suggestions on the parts? Good name brands? Built your own before? etc... Looking for any and all knowledge here.

Enermax power supplies are great, and have had great luck with G-Skill memory lately, even when overclocking. That board supports both Tri-SLI, and ATI Crossfire, so it's up in the air as to what vid cards you want.

[LoD]Evile Adept - Inactive Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 2,813	ATIs would be my choice. I dealt with SLI, and it really wasn't much of a performance boost, but was using 8600s (which are shit for SLI). From reviews and benchmarks though, ATI has been kicking some serious ass lately. If you do go with ATI, stay away from the Sapphire cards.
