So, show me a percentage relating to deaths involving police since the widespread implementation of Tasers. I'm curious to know whether or not its gone up or down. Additionally, show me numbers that report on whether or not incidents requiring medical attention have gone up, or down, since the widespread implementation of Tasers.
How do you think police were subduing suspects prior to Tasers? Will power? Right. They were having to use brute force in many cases to subdue suspects. I'm just hedging a guess, but that guess is that there were far more cases in need of medical attention due to physical brute force as opposed to Tasers. Maybe I'm wrong?
No, Stretch, I'm not implying that police used a gun in every situation prior to the implementation of Tasers. However, ignore my previous tongue in cheek comment and tell whether or not you believe the death rate in Police apprehension (percentage, not numbers) has declined.
