Hey, not sure if any of you LoD guys remember me.
I was Grump the Grumpiest in shadowbane, death server, I believe. We caused some hell, eh? Fun times!
I was also in LoD a few times in UO I can't remember the chars names, bleh, all banned long ago, heh.
Anywho.
I've started a MMOG dev company, if you wish to peek about the url is www.damnsexygames.com
In LoD fashion, you could say, I have hired only the best from around the globe. As you will notice from the samples on the site.
Oh and Crew972, ex - pixar animators, will be animating our models.
Anyway, just stopping by to say hi after all these years, glad to see you guys are still around. Perhaps if I need a small team to beta PvP I can call upon LoD, hrm? This might be in a few years.

Haha, I spoke with a few of the DF devs and told them "good job, this is what the industry needs" or something like that. I haven't really followed it but from the few videos I watched it looks like the right direction. <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I'll certainly take a look. The "whole city building", seems like very hard balance, shadowbane was a good try but it sort of flopped out.
For instance in shadowbane, I am unsure about darkfall, you could not select how big you wanted your "town" you plopped the tree down and then were given a massive space. So if you simply wanted to run a vendor building or two people would have to walk their asses alllll the way to the middle.
Bah.
Maybe it's changed though, I hope DF fixed this, I'll have to give it a more thorough look. I think there is an open beta?
I'm so busy atm with getting the millions it takes to do this that I don't have much time to play anymore.
