win the next election. Ok folks this is a no brainer! Gas has GTFO America and hemp has to replace it. Everyone knows hemp seed oil is a lot easier to produce and grow in America. There are 61 items that now run on gas, that would improve the product both consumer and producer wise if hemp was replaced. This month Nevada is voting to legalize marijuana in there state. If Nevada and the Democrats win, marijuana will be legal. Its practically legal in California. The reason why you dont hear the democrats talking is because the republicans can spin this issue on them. The democrats would just lose. They got to keep it hush hush

How much money do you think the gas industry has behind them. How about the pharmacutical companies? You think it matters two shits wheither somebody is a democrat or republican? You think it stops there? What about the drug cartels making billions growing weed in our national parks? You think some of that money doesn't make its way back to our goverment?

You do realize that they can engineer a strain of weed that produces a significant amount of seeds to make oil from and very little (and crap for smoking) bud. How exactly does that benefit the typical pot head?

You do realize that they can engineer a strain of weed that produces a significant amount of seeds to make oil from and very little (and crap for smoking) bud. How exactly does that benefit the typical pot head? First off. Lets not call it "weed" or "marijuana". The term marijuana was only created to fool 'highly educated' members of our goverment in to thinking "marijuana" was something other than hemp. Hemp farming won't help the average pot head. It will probably open up peoples eyes from being lied to for the last 70 years... However it would - Create a fuel alternative that IS possible to deploy on a national level. - Create superior fiber for use in all things fiber related. Imagine if you bought a t-shirt and a year later it was in BETTER condition than when you bought it? - Create a healthy oil for people intrested in their health. An ingredient that would replace currently used oils and make those foods healthier. In the grand scheme of things, who gives a fuck about the average pot head.

heh I will add to that by saying that I own some hemp clothing. It actually caters to me really well. Its comfortable, more durable and doesnt really need to be washed as much as regular cloth. This caters to the average "pot" head like me. Second off, rainman you cant live in a society where cannabis is illegal and hemp production is legal. Its like having opium legal and heroin illegal. Just doesnt work. That is why cannabis will become legal once hemp is made legal. Now why dont you stop calling it "pot". This is more worse then my grandpa who calls it "dope". Call it cannabis, or ganja.

Well Stretch, over the years I have come to love your knowledge of history and politics. You would probably make a good politcian or maybe an economic advisor. But the problem is you guys dont know current trends or have the ability to use street sense and apply it to politics. Anyway here is the last reason why I think cannabis really will become legal this election or next one. In this day and age, Cannabis is becoming more popular and well known. People are realizing all the propaganda bullshit which means more and more kids are smoking at younger ages. Back in the 70s,80s,even 90s, most people would be smoking marijuana when there 16-19 years old for there first time. Thats not the case now. Kids now will be smoking when there 12-14 years old for there first time. Now heres the problem. Cannabis is a gate way drug to cocaine, speed and other drugs. (Yes i admit it) Because kids are smoking at this young age, kids at the age of 15-16 are getting over weed and want to try new drugs. Introducing Cocaine, or meth! Believe it or not there are a shitload of freshmen in Highschool who are into cocaine. Because these kids are so young, they abuse the drug like no other and have no brains to figure out what there doing. This leads to an increase in crime as well as increase in demand for cocaine. Now MTV is practically supporting cocaine. Rick Ross, a MAINSTREAM RAPPER, has every song about cocaine! There cool songs, but come on this guy is making cocaine more fucking mainstream. Have you bought his cd? every song is about cocaine. Yes, every song! There tight songs but he is creating a big problem. Within the next year I gurantee the DEA will release reports about how there is a rise in Cocaine. Cocaine is going to create a big problem because of the fact its so easy to abuse. How will the DEA handle it? They will legalize marijuana and focus on all the other drugs. (Meth, Cocaine, Heroin, MDMA (xtc) I tried cocaine for the first time when I was 18. Since then I havent done it more then a dozen times. Its a shitty drug and costs to much goddam money! Another issue is fucking Robitusin and these dumb ass kids drinking cough syrup to get high. The chemical in it is called DXM. Now I have tried almost every recreational drug there is - Cannabis, Hash, Shrooms, Cocaine, LSD (acid), DXM, MDMA xtc, Salvia, Datura, Peyote, Morning Glory, all the 2C chemicals, PCP, pharmmies- Xanax, Valium, Vikdin, I have never tried any opiates (Heroin, OXY, Opium) because I dont feel like having a phsyical addiction. Anyway PCP was shitty but was totally different then what the news describes it as. The craziest one was probably Datura. I really love drugs and made a vow to try em all atleast once. Infact the only drugs ive done more then once are cocaine and marijuana and xanax. The rest were just expirments. Anyway the worse is probably DXM. This shit makes you fucking retarded! Believe it or not, drinking 900% more cough syrup then your body should have, makes you retarded! DXM is going to fuck this country over as well as cocaine. Anyway I went off on a rant but the point is. Cannabis will be legal because the bigger issue among children is going to be Cocaine and Meth and other drugs. The government will no longer give a shit about un productive people (us weed heads) once the rise in robberies, assault and other violence happens.

the de facto alliance is between prominent sectors of the business community (energy and pharmaceuticals), social conservatives, innercity and suburban liberals, and the stronger-than-you-think drug enforcement lobby. Since this defies the right-left paradigm and has at least three sources of serious funding, there is almost zero chance Congress will act. However, the President could appoint the right person to Attorney General along with sympathetic DEA and HHS heads, and they could theoretically reclassify cannibis from Schedule I to Schedule III or lower. Theoretically yes, but that's just semantecs. The fact is that there are other reasons for such a strong war on drugs, and it has nothing to do with drugs. I would disagree with stronger-than-you-think drug enforcement lobby", since I know first hand how rediculously powerful the drug enforcement lobby really is. I don't get involved on politics 99% of the time on these forums. However, this topic was up my alley. I don't normally talk about RL much here. However, I will say I am a HUGE supporter. I've created my own charitable organization online dealing with medical marijuana patients. I'm a lifetime member and supporter of norml. Administrator for one of the largest anti-prohibition websites on the internet. Once I take residence in california I will be switching from part time influence peddler to full-time lobbyist. If anyone thinks this has anything to do with "getting high" you couldn't be wrong more.
