It was pretty well done. Was cool to look at... was cool to learn more about the other aspects of the story. But at the end of the movie, it didnt make you walk outa the theatre with the feeling that you just saw something special and you needed to tell the world.
It does make you want to watch the old star wars movies to feel complete tho...

Ah the acting was shitty in the 70s versions too. It was the strong story and fresh subject matter that got us back then. Just can't happen this time for obviouos reasons.
Ask your self if Hayden fuckface is any more faggy than Mark Hamel.

I liked it. The fight scenes and seeing how Vader became Vader were awesome, but sometimes Natalie Portman's acting made me wanna slit my wrists.

Darth Vader (after getting well-done barbequed) would have gotten his ass kicked by all the major Jedi characters in episodes 1-3. One of the key points with Anakin is that he's not nearly the Force wielder he was before getting all fucked up. This is one of the major reasons why the Emperor wanted Luke to replace his father as his apprentice.
As far as the acting goes; I don't really blame the actors themselves. The cast, for the most part, is fairly talented; but they have shit dialogue to work with. Lucas is notorious for being a bad dialogue writer and isn't very good with directing actors.
