its not that they should pay more, its that they should pay as much as everyone else. they arent taxed nearly as much as regualr corporations in the area, and indead casino's in generaly dont pay anywhere near as close as those located in nevada ect

I don't know...but casinos offer nothing except a really good time that costs a lot of money without any sort of betterment of the national or local economy other than providing jobs for local Indians, because you know they won't hire anyone who's not an Indian. Thus, they should pay as much in taxes as me. Indians are greedy bastards who are taking advantage of the situation. Good for them, but I don't like it and there are enough people who don't like it to stop it. Unlike most left-wing garbage.
Of course, people like Strech will pounce on the opprotunity to attack big business tax breaks and whatnot. However, compare a casino to an oil company. Compare a casino to Wal-Mart, which I know you must frequent for all your hippy-garb needs. I love how you mention Arny abusing the political system and just let the Indian casinos who have abusing the system for a helluva lot longer slide by. That's called a double-standard.
I have no problems with Indians or Indian casinos. But casinos really don't offer much outside of entertainment. Of course, comment on pro teams and the god-awful Yankees, but I guarantee you that the Cowboys pay more taxes than the Redskins.

My girlfriend a couple years back worked at casino marongo. Shes white. Funny thing is everyone got payed below minimum wage. Becuase their a soverign nation and can do whatever the fuck they want.

But they reason she might have gotten paid below minimum wage is tips. Some loophole in the tip system is that dealers don't have to be paid minimum wage because every now and then, a high roller will tip them. Same with casino drink servers and whatnot.

Yea thats what I was reading. But it was ran differently there. They garnished thier tips, I dont know how much. Ill find out when I talk to her later. Also... tips at a indian reservation casino are crap. It isnt like vegas. Most of the people who go to indian casinos are too poor to make a trip to vegas. Its a poor mans vegas. Tips arent going to be anything close to vegas standards. Minimum wage should be minimum wage. Not this bullshit not gaurenteed tip bullshit.
