Thanks for reminding the rest of the US about what we in NYC live with every day. I do appreciate it.
I personally can't watch the videos myself. I live about a mile away from Ground Zero, and can see the beams of light clearly right outside my house looking down Washington Street to where the towers once stood. I lost three friends that day, a fourth made it out.
You know those great fall days where the air is so crisp and you are so happy to be alive? They make me uneasy now.
We should never forget all that died that day and those that are still dying.
