Hello,
<br> My wife's pc used to lock up all the time in shadowbane. I downloaded the latest drivers for her geforce 4 card and the lock ups stopped. Everything was good for about 2 or 3 weeks. Now, as of this last weekend, her machine locks up again when we are playing. Anyone have any idea what it might be? It happens at random times, so its not like it is from one specific in game action. She has locked up when sitting, when fighting, when running, etc. Its getting very annoying.
<br>Her machine is a 1.2 gig, running some form of on board sound. It has on board video as well, which is disabled in the bios and in the os (which is XP-Pro). As mentioned above, her video card is a geforce 4.

oh yea...i'm just so frickin' stupid..I'll just format the drive and wipe out my wifes machine. Nice try. People suck. LOL.<br><br>

I see nothing wrong formatting I remember when good old windows whistler was out and every week they would come out with a new version 2195 2197 this that lol. I was formmatting every week it is just a pain in the ass to have to go through formatting and reinstalling everything. You arent whiping out anything cause you will be reinstalling it. Also if you had a good computer and it was built correctly you can back all stuff up on another drive and have it all sorted out on other drives then just format the C: partition. Then copy everything back over easy as pie to do it that way thats how I format.<br><br>Life is a game, It's meant to be played
