Lords of Death Forums Lords of Death Forums LoD FPS/RTS/MMO/Console - Public 2.1 Problems... wtf?!

Ok, so I downloaded the fucking patch, installed it, and ran the game. I connect to a server, go into a game. As soon as I join the game, I get the "Conneciton problem detected". It lets me spawn, and when I do, my character starts out looking as if he is waist deep in water. Soon as I hit any movement control, he pops up to ground level, but the connection problems message doesn't go away, and I move VERY slowly and choppy, completely unplayable.

<br>I tried uninstalling the game, deleting the game folder, reinstalling the game and installing the 2.1 patch (I tried verisons from three different locations), skipping the 1.1 altogether. Still no dice. I read all the shit on the EA message boards, but not luck there either. If any of you know of some shit that could help me, let me know.<br><br>-Rolo

Dont know the cure for the fix though.<br><br>

Yeah, I figured it out, and it had nothing to do with bf1942 itself. I went to dslreports.com after trying everything else I could think of, and tested my connection. Turns out, I was only getting 18kbps/sec upload. Once I called my isp and bitched, and the upload got fixed, the game worked flawlessly.<br><br>-Rolo
